Hello my lovelies!!! Well the time has finally come..... the Morphe G6 has been restocked!!! I'm pretty sure it won't last long so if you've been coveting this brush as long as I have, definitely get it while it's hot. I haven't had much one-on-one time with Morphe Brushes but my cousin has a few and as soon as I got my hands on them I was hooked. And it was then I knew - I want them all and I want them now :) What I can't understand is why Morphe didn't make an announcement that its finally available - especially when I signed up for notifications to let me know when the brush was restocked. The only thing I can think of is that they still haven't fixed the "Jaclyn Hill Crash of 2015" and they fear their website crashing again.

Sephora Insider Rewards - Worth It or Wait??



Hello lovelies! So today's blog is dedicated solely to Sephora shopping. Anyone who shops at Sephora knows about their Beauty Insider rewards program - or at least I hope you do! Basically for every dollar you spend you earn a point that can be accumulated until the end of time (they never expire)  and they can be applied towards the current items in their "rewards" lineup and also entitles you to a birthday gift, access to seasonal promotions and free beauty classes. Once you've spent $350 in a calendar year you are bumped up to VIB (Very Important Beauty Insider) status - which gets you all of the Beauty Insider benefits, first dibs on new products, private VIB-Only shopping events, seasonal VIB-Only gifts and advance access to regular Sephora sales. Spend $1,000 in a calendar year and you are honored with the elite VIB Rouge status :) This gets you all Insider and VIB benefits (except that the birthday gift is a little better than the Insider gift) plus free shipping on ALL online orders, unlimited access to the Beauty Studio, exclusive access to Rouge-Only events and gifts. Your points can be redeemed in increments of 100 and 500 points - the 100 point items are usually pretty decent sample sizes, and the 500 point items are more of a box set where you get a few sample size items from one featured brand. All in all - it's a pretty amazing program!

Now, for the free stuff.......so Sephora does a pretty good job in my opinion of offering a range of items to choose from. What does make a difference is whether you are in a "Sephora Inside JC Penny" or a regular Sephora. I find that the regular Sephora's have more items to offer in the rewards display - but I'm not complaining :) They do change periodically so if you don't see anything that tickles your fancy at checkout, wait a week or so (or check online) and see if new items have been introduced. I have to say that because I buy a wide range of products at Sephora (skincare, self-tanning, and of course makeup) I do accumulate points quickly so I like to use my points as much as I can - I earned them anyways! In the photo above I included a nice little display of all the rewards I have cashed in on over the last few months and have loved all of them. To the point that I went and purchased a few of the fuller sized products because I used them up so quick. Obviously that's what Sephora gets out of it - you try the teenie tiny sample - fall in love with it, and go pay $40 for the full sized product. But I will say that the rewards system has enticed me to try thing I normally never would have tried for the same reason. Some of which have been ride-or-die, how did I ever live without them kind of products.

So if you've never shopped at Sephora, or you have and didn't think the Insider program was worth it, hopefully this article as given you a little nudge to change your mind because if you're a beauty addict and/or you enjoy free samples then the Sephora Insider program is for YOU!

All Beauty, All The Time! Let the journey begin.....

Welcome everyone!

First I would like to thank you so much for taking a moment or two to check out my blog, I have to say that this is something that I have been wanting to do for so long and I finally worked up the courage and determination to MAKE IT HAPPEN! I truly do make an effort to immerse myself in "all beauty all the time" whether I'm deciding on my OOTD, creating a new rockin' makeup look or enjoying some down time outdoors - there's always room for beauty! Some Mother Nature created, the other is in the eye of the beholder. This blog for me is a place that I can share my thoughts (as random as they may be) and engage with all of you that share my passion for beauty. I will make this disclaimer now - I am not a professional MUA, stylist or hairdresser! But I make it a point to be as educated as possible in those areas because they are all huge parts of my life that I enjoy so much. It's an ongoing joke in my household that my husband and my daughter play video games, I play with makeup. My husband buys parts for his dirt bike, I buy handbags (lots and lots of handbags)! We work hard so that we can enjoy the things we love (an incredible quote "buying things you need is the result of hard work, buying things you want is part of the reward")
